How Commercial Editors Make Magic With MWP’s Jeff Wishengrad.

Partner/Editor Jeff Wishengrad of Miller Wishengrad Post, a top post house in commercials, is as talented as he is well-respected in our business. Love that we finally got to sit down and chat all things commercial filmmaking. We discuss how editors do their thing, working with director Michael Bay, director’s cuts and more. Jeff has both IHOP pancakes and a J. Cole video on his reel. Now that is versatility.

Check out his reel here and enjoy this:

  1. Thanks Patrick. Personally, a good script is a good script, regardless of platform or often budget.

  2. I’m still/always learning, and these get better and better. Thanks for making these, Jordan. What I liked most in this one: the discussion about how there’s so many more opportunities but they’re different kinds of opportunities. “There are so many midlevel clients out there that don’t want anything to do with the bigger agencies, and can’t do it themselves so they seek out people who can give them great creative work.” This totally jibes with what I’m finding out, as someone who does TV commercials but makes most of my living doing digital spots and stuff.
