McCann Detroit Executive Producer Hafeez Saheed Offers Sage Advice For Commercial Filmmakers.

In 2021, Hafeez Saheed joined McCann Detroit to oversee production on the prestigious General Motors and Shoe Carnival accounts. We bumped into each other while Hafeez was in post for GM’s Dr. Evil EV Super Bowl spot with my pal Co-CCO Chuck Meehan. So Hafeez adds Mike Meyers to a celebrity list that includes Beyoncé, SpongeBob and more.

He has served on Shoot Magazine’s New Directors Showcase and The Montreal Effects Festival panels and the One Club’s Young Ones and Telly Awards jury, and is an adjunct professor at The School of Visual Arts. Writer, Producer, Director Sean McCarthy Is Living His Dream.

Sean McCarthy was born in Hong Kong and grew up in San Jose, California. He saw his first film at the age of three and knew he had found his life’s calling. By the time he reached high school he had written and directed over 50 short films, even appearing in front of the camera at times.
