Christine Chen is a prolific film producer, director and co-author of Get Reelisms. I recommend this book for anyone starting out on set. It’s all the filmmaking lingo, some even new to me. Christine’s work incorporates her perspectives from growing up as a first generation Asian-American in Colorado and from coming of age within a culture dominate in patriarchal tradition. Her short films “A Bird’s Nest” and “Ya Albi” were a Top 5 Louisiana Film Prize Finalists. They will be available on iTunes, Amazon, ShortsHD and continue to make the festival rounds. Funemployment, Christine’s debut feature, produced under her banner Moth to Flame Films.
