Today, I woke up in a funk. It happens. After 8 straight weeks of prep, shooting and working with editors, I caught that Post Shoot Depression. Then we took the train downtown to USC, home of this year’s Special Olympics. The happiness I witnessed lifted my spirits. And seeing my wife’s documentary play as a part of the events reminded me that as filmmakers, we have a gift that we can share.
