Bart Cleveland Launched Job Propulsion Lab To Supercharge Your Advertising Portfolio.

After years as an award-winning creative director and agency owner, Bart Cleveland realized a need to help people succeed in the advertising industry required more than academic programs. Today, those who have used JPL are working at some of the industry’s most respected agencies. Bart is a frequent speaker at SXSW, BOLO, Ad Age’s Small Agency Conference and The One Club Creative Week. He is a contributing author for The Get a Job Worksop: How to Find Your Way to a Creative Career in Advertising and is working a second book, Build the Creative Career You’re Meant to Have.

If you’re a Designer, Art Director, Copywriter or just looking to level up, check out JPL.

I directed this for Bart back in olden days of film, 4:3 aspect ratios and when this non-Spanish speakers directed in Spanish.

Collaboration Is Everything With Kerry Graham, Vice Chairman/CEO Bohan Advertising.

What a treat to talk with industry titan Kerry Graham at Bohan Advertising in Nashville. Kerry has shaped the agency’s collaborative culture by literally ripping down walls and forcing integration so that all departments work together in blissful harmony.

His advice to those starting out? More than just having a resumé, tell your story of your interests and passions. Be able to explain where you want to go in life and why. We also discuss the power of turning down work, something I know is hard to do.

Here’s two spots we talk about. One heartfelt commercial for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee and a funny spot for Dollar General.

Enjoy. I look forward to your feedback on iTunes, jordanbrady.com (which is where you are now). Or heck, just email me at RespectTheProcessPodcast today.

Thank you,

Jordan
